Help Ukrainian Flood Victims

We are initiating an urgent fundraising campaign to assist people in Kherson due to the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam.

Help Ukrainian Flood Victims

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, a catastrophic event unfolded as Russia destroyed a hydroelectric power plant  in the Kherson region of Ukraine.

This is a devastating man-made ecological disaster. The immediate aftermath saw several villages and cities submerged in water: a tragic loss of human life; thousands of people displaced; irreversible damage to wildlife, and the contamination of the Dnipro River.

In response to this, Maple Hope Foundation is initiating an urgent fundraising campaign to assist the humanitarian response in Kherson. Our partners on the ground are working tirelessly to evacuate the residents of the Kherson region and ensure they have access to essential supplies such as food and water.

Your donation of $20, $50 or $100 will help deliver:

  • Clean water
  • Water purifiers
  • Food for evacuees
  • Shelter

We are monitoring the situation regularly and are responding to the rapidly changing needs on the ground, but we need your help. Please donate to support our efforts by selecting “Kherson relief” from the dropdown list on our “donate” page.
