What sets our organization apart:
- Our founders and most of our board members are Ukrainian emigrants with genuine and profound connections to Ukraine. In fact, many of our team members still have family and friends in Ukraine, giving us a deep understanding of the current situation and increasing our commitment to our cause.
- Our board is diverse, with representation from various regions of Ukraine, ranging from the Lviv Region, to Kyiv, to Luhansk in Donbas.
- We were born from a historic grassroots volunteer movement and continue to embody this spirit every day.
- We work directly with our partners in Ukraine, with whom we have cultivated trusted and reliable relationships over the past ten years.
- We operate fully remotely, without full-time salaries or substantial administrative costs, ensuring that the majority of donations go directly to our projects.
Financial accountability
Maple Hope Foundation is a registered Canadian not-for-profit organization, operating in compliance with Canadian law. We do not provide tax receipts.
