Rally in Vancouver on February 26th 2023 to support Ukraine

On the occasion of the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion in Ukraine, a fervent and sizable group assembled at Jack Poole Plaza (Vancouver) on February 26th.

On February 26th, Vancouver’s snowy streets were once again filled with the vibrant colors of yellow and blue flags. Despite the harsh weather conditions, people gathered at Jack Poole Plaza to remind Canada that the Ukrainian people are still fighting for their freedom.

It was heartening to see not just Ukrainians but also supporters from various nationalities, such as Poles, Georgians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Taiwanese, and more, coming together to show their solidarity.

The captivating posters designed by ucadvocacygroup delivered powerful messages such as “The war is not over,” echoing the crowd’s sentiments. Other posters prepared by our team solicited that we “Stop the war in Ukraine together.”

Seeing people wrapped in Ukrainian flags sharing words of support and encouragement was inspiring.

A special thanks to kadmytro for capturing these moments so beautifully.
