Partnership with UBC: Stories of Displaced Ukrainian Women

We are extremely proud to announce that Maple Hope Foundation, the Department of Central, Eastern, and Northern European Studies, and the Department of History at UBC are recipients of #UBC’s 2022-23 Community-University Engagement Support Fund!

Together with partners at UBC, we will be working on a special research project to raise awareness of the war in Ukraine, particularly by bringing into focus the life experiences of displaced Ukrainian women coming to British Columbia under the CUAET program.

Receiving up to $25,000 each, all projects are exceptional examples of how communities are collaborating with students, faculty, and staff to address priority issues across #BC. We are thrilled to be a community partner for one of them!
