We are incredibly moved by the bravery of a 4-year-old Ukrainian boy who underwent an emergency surgery the same day the Maple Hope Foundation’s medical shipment from Canada arrived in Ukraine.
Thanks to the donated stent - a small, expandable tube inserted into a narrowed or blocked blood vessel to help keep it open - this boy received a life-saving surgery and is doing well.
