Community Forum in Kelowna Draws in More than 100 Participants

On November 25, we held the first Ukrainian community forum in Abbotsford for newcomer and displaced Ukrainians.

This was an offline meeting with Canadian specialists in migration, career and educational consultants, counsellors and psychologists — for new arrivals and everyone who needs support in matters of adaptation and integration in the context of forced relocation.

The event brought together over 100 participants from cities such as Kelowna, Vernon, Pentinkton, Salmon Arm, Merritt, Kamloops, and Castlegar.

The forum was held as part of the all-Canadian project “Healing the Wounds of the War Together”, implemented by Maple Hope Foundation with the financial support of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.

A special thank you to Kelowna Stands with Ukraine - our co-organizer and community partner in Kelowna.
