During our working visit to Kyiv last week, our team met with representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Deputy Minister of Health and Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine, Igor Kuzin, to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between our foundation and the Ministry of Health in the field of medicine.

In particular, they discussed the distribution of the next shipment of medical equipment for civilian hospitals and the organization of an online training for doctors on how to use the equipment and how to maintain and adjust it. They also discussed the problems of mental health of Ukrainians and the possibilities of cooperation in this area.

Medicine is the largest branch of humanitarian aid provided by Maple Hope Foundation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. To date, the amount of assistance provided has reached 226 million hryvnias ($8.1 CAD).

We are extremely grateful to Mr. Kuzin, his advisor Olga Zhurova and Oleg Khavroniuk, Head of International and European Integration Department, for the warm meeting and this opportunity to collaborate.
